THEME: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY JESUS!

LETTER OF THE WEEK: F

ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK-

We will continue creating and wrapping gifts for our families this week. Letter F is our focus. We will be excited to play with Christmas play dough. I set out a bunch of blank Christmas cards for the kids to write in, maybe you have one or two or possibly five hanging up at home already. Later in the week, your child will able able to use their imaginations with our Nativity costumes. Dramatic play is such a wonderful experience for our preschoolers.

ADVENT-

We will continue our focus on ADVENT which is Latin word that actually means “coming.”

A few of the ways we celebrate Advent is with Advent Candles and learning what they represent. We count down to Jesus’s birthday with an Advent chain. We also open the doors on an Advent Calendar. The children love preparing for “Jesus’s coming” with these activities. We had a great time creating our personal Advent chains with our buddies.

PINATA DONATIONS-

We are planning to break a
pinata on Dec. 19 & 20 as a part of our
 Mexican Christmas celebration.
Any pinata goodies (wrapped candy, stickers, trinkets, etc.) donated would be greatly appreciated by all. Please drop off donations by Monday, Dec. 18.

Thank you.

MYSTERY BAG-

The MYSTERY BAG will now be changed into the Mystery LETTER Bag.  When this bag comes home with your child, we ask that you find 1 item from your home that begins with the letter attached to the bag. Please continue to write clues for us to guess.  They LOVE having a chance to share things from home!

MMSA ADVENT FOOD DRIVE-

MONDAY, DEC. 4 - FRIDAY, DEC. 15 - Please send non-perishable food items to school to support the MMSA Advent Food Drive.  Student Council will distribute the food to those in need this Advent Season. Thank you for your contributions!

It will be a nice surprise.   Sign up below to read us a story in the upcoming months as
