Introduction
Welcome to Maternity of Mary - St. Andrew Catholic School Admissions page. Choosing a school is a very important decision. Thank you for considering MMSA Catholic School for your child. At MMSA we are committed to giving our students a rigorous academic program grounded in our Catholic faith. Our students develop not only their minds and spirits, but also their hearts as they live out their call to be young people of faith, honor, and compassion. In fact, this year alone we welcomed over fifty new families who have chosen MMSA for their child.
A product of Catholic education myself, I personally have seen the benefits of growing up within a strong Catholic school community. I hope our website allows you to explore our school further, so that you can learn more about the educational environment and experiences MMSA would be able to offer your child. I invite you to attend our open houses throughout the year, along with other events that highlight our enrichment activities and programs. Admissions Information
Preschool
MMSA accepts children as young as three years of age into our Preschool Program. Parents are encouraged to take a tour of our program anytime during the school year. Parents are encouraged to attend our Preschool & Kindergarten Open House and Information Night in January. Our program has two, three, and five day preschool options, including half day and full day opportunities as well. Please call the school office to learn more about our wonderful preschool program.
Kindergarten
MMSA accepts children into our Kindergarten program who are five years of age by September 1st. Parents are encouraged to take a school tour, as well as attend the MMSA Preschool & Kindergarten Information Night and Open House in January of each year. Potential kindergarten students and families will also be invited to attend MMSA's Kindergarten Kick-Off in the spring.
Grades 1 - 8
Please call the school office to schedule a tour and to inquire about grade level openings for your child. Frequently, we encourage transfer students to schedule a "shadow visit" so they can get a better feel for our school. Students will be able to spend a half day/full day and will be assigned to a peer to be their "buddy" for the day.
