| | Home and School = HandS
The purpose of the Home and School (HandS) Committee is to help build community and communication.
Our group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 in O’Donnell Hall, snacks/treats and beverages are provided. We welcome and encourage parents to come to a meeting to listen and offer their unique insights. If childcare is an issue, you are welcome to bring your children along with snacks and a quite activity and they can play while we meet.
By attending a meeting you will not be expected to attend all future meetings nor will you be “roped into” an event. The committee is looking for “fresh faces with fresh ideas”.
Below are the topics presented each month; click on the month to access the minutes from that month's meeting.
January's meeting focused on: Cornerstone Roll Out, Grade Gatherings, Craft and Bake Sale, and SCRIP December's meeting focused on: Grade Gatherings, Open House, School Supply Packs, Catholic Schools Week, and Fundraising November's meeting focused on: Marathon Recap, Grade Gatherings/Family Fun Nights, and Fund-A-Need ideas. October’s meeting focused on “How to Build Our Community Through Welcoming our New Families and Increasing Volunteerism”.
Also, hours served attending school meetings do count towards your 15 hours of volunteering. | |
